Grateful

I don’t want this to sound bad, but undoubtedly, it will.

I’m grateful my mom isn’t alive through this. She would be HIGH on the list of “at risk” of catching the virus.

And since I’m no longer near her, it would be brutal on me (and, I think, on her) to not be able to visit, talk, hug, and say goodbye.

Her last few months were painful enough. This would have been horrible.

I got to say goodbye. For that, I am very grateful.
